| In addition to the other processes, SL Industries introduced excellent blasting and painting capabilities designed to handle large parts and components. Our designated for the purpose facility has separate blast and paint units which are compliant with all environmental regulations.
The blast operation uses steel grit or glass bead to prepare carbon or alloy steel surfaces for paint application.
The paint booth is of cross draft type with heat curing oven attached to it (to be commissioned in June 2007), which allows SL Industries to apply enamels, high temperature or epoxies paints.
